Darn, when's the last time you washed it, rubbed it out and waxed it??
I wished mine looked that good. It will.....maybe even this year.

Yes, I was "working" with the 350 last night trying to catch up on some overdue snow removal and promptly put it through the ice at the end of my driveway and ended up in 2' of water. Everything here is glare ice from the rain we had a month ago, so you can not believe how worthless a pickup is try...

....and while you're at it.....
And it is easy to get to..... How about the non major stuff? Bearings/brushes in the starter/generator? Water pump?? Hydr pump?? What should be rebuilt while it's easy to get at. All was working prior to the full tear down. The water pump and hydr pump are NOT easy once it's back together but the ge...

Ever have your wife.......
Ever have your wife walk into your shop, roll her eyes and leave with "don't you even think of dying before you get that thing back together"

Front idler question
Looking at the front idlers, they are both worn slightly more on the out side. Is this normal? I'm thinking of just switching them so the wear is inside when it goes back together.

Sort of a mess...
Well, actually it was a large mess. One front idler had a lot of side play so I took it apart. If it could have been messed up...it was  Bushings worn out, shaft worn out, lock bolt sheared off, four cap screws on one of the side plates sheared off :?  Well I finally got...

WTB starter casting
I'm switching my 420 bell housing from an early model to a later one. My old one had a single side bolt holding the starter, but...the new one has the 2 bolt face mount.
My starter is good, but I need the nose casting, part # AT 19629 T. I have not been able to find one locally.
Thanks,
Gus

New rollers for MC
I have 6 NEW rollers. Complete but without the axle shaft (roller and both end caps). For MC or 3 roller 40C.
I would prefer to sell as a set, but if a couple of people go together and buy all, I will split them up.
These are NEW JD rollers.

OK, OK, give me some time!!!  I have been looking at it for a year. I am going to try this (wheel tractor 3 pt). My 420 is all apart and will be going back together in the next couple of months. I have the three pt off of a row crop. I am planning on putting it on. I've checked size and f...

That is a tough one. If it is not leaking, the thought is to leave the seals alone. The second thought is if you are there, now is the time to replace them. I guess it is kind of up to you, and how much work you feel like doing. One thing to try is stick a short bar in the throwout tube and pry up ...

Which quills do you mean? Lavoy Referring to the steering quill, first part out from the ring and pinion gears. Also called throw-out bearing and carrier assembly in the parts book. Remove it and replace seals?? Clean and relube parts? What in here wears and should be replaced besides the throwout ...
