Lavoy,

Are these battery boxes for the ICD version or just the gassers? If they do fit the diesel what would be the total sent to my address in Kentucky?

Thanks!

Maybe you could add a line of products such as knitted crawler covers, custom fitted for each model of crawler......

Lavoy,

Thanks for the info. 6000 lbs is close enough for me to work with. Just wanted to make sure my trailer would handle the weight.

Thanks again!

440 weight without engine

Its time for our much anticipated move from Arkansas to Kentucky. One of the things we have to move is my 440ICD with model 63 blade. Currently the engine is out of the crawler. Its been rebuilt I just haven't had time to install it. How much would the crawler weigh without the engine? As for the en...

Brett,

I like it!

Did you have any trouble turning? I've got to move mine in the near future and just might try your method.

Thanks for sharing!

Pusher fan was available for the gassers, I have an NOS pusher fan kit for mine if I ever get it done. Lavoy Its interesting that none were available for the diesels. Do you think it would be possible to retrofit a pusher fan to a diesel? If so any suggestions on where to look for such an animal? B...

Isn't the winch alone worth well over $500?

The winch is the one accessory that I wish I had with my 440.

Chuck, Thanks for checking. We haven't even started our move to Kentucky yet. I accepted a job transfer back in February but part of the deal was I had to go work in Pasadena until the end of October. Once I'm done in Pasadena I'll probably end up living in our motorhome in Kentucky until we can mak...

Craig, My 440ICD didn't have the radiator baffles installed so I know for a fact they aren't needed for mounting the radiator. However if you have them I'd sure leave them in place. I'm still trying to find the upper and right side baffles for my crawler. Unfortunately its been almost two years sinc...

Bryce, I remember the picture, actually I saved a copy just to remind me these things are not toys. I just have a plain dozer blade but your comments about access to that area are definitely something to consider. I do have a battery box (needs rework) but it was made for mounting on the fender, com...
