Neil, Both sides are snow shoes but they are different. They both have the hole in the pad to let packed snow and ice out of the chain. The left side is JD snow shoes. They have a varing height or notched grouser that is either higher in the middle or higher on the ends. The right side has a straigh...

Lavoy, The more I visit here, the more I like it. It does seem similar to the JohnnyPopper board, which I also like. It's much easier to use and those annoying pop ups are GONE! Much more content that the old one. Color scheme is very appropriate. :D GREAT JOB!!!! Thank you for a wonderful resource....

Rich,
As I remember, it is 135 lbs. when it's hot. I'd have to look it up to be sure but I looked it up a few months ago so I pretty sure it's right.

It will be restored, one day..... I use it, if I need it. I used it cleaning out a fencerow just last week but it's not really a work machine. I would like to find a ripper for the back. That would really make it complete. I'm a 40 guy but, like you, wanted a 420 (I love that yellow on the ho...

My 420C with JD 90 Loader
I just got this a couple of months ago. If not had much time to work on it yet. It's a 57 420C with a late 420/430 engine.

on a 420 if you have the short stub exhaust pipe, Lavoy Lavoy, I don't have the short pipe on my 420. It has a homemade stainless exhaust system, including the muffler, on it currently. Do you have the short pipe in stock? Would I be just as well off to cut the stainless pipe above the hood to make...
