It's wide track with full rops and looks like a 6 way blade all in one package:

Re: Front Idler
Well I got the new idler, it's not made the same as the old one it's basically flat inside more like a wheel than the original. The front idler shields will not fit correctly. There are two options, I can install without or I can try and flatten them out and reshape then. I'm wonder because the idle...

Re: JD 350 C dozer track extender stuck
You can't really weld it shut, you'd never be able to collapse the adjuster when you need to work on the track or put a thrown track back on. There has to be something wrong or stuck in the hole. I'd clean it out really well carb cleaner/compressed air and find out what's preventing it from sealing ...

Re: can swap ar49900 for ar51748
You could have your correct OEM pump rebuilt for less, that is what I would do. Those pumps are fairly specific and I think swapping part numbers would be a bad idea unless JD tells you it's an obsolete part number that has been replaced with the other number.

Re: Front Idler
For those reading along a standard 450c master pin will not work with the berco tracks, it's too small. I think it's 1.250 and I need 1.375 =(

Re: Front Idler
I ended up ruining the pin getting it out. I have Berco tracks on my machine, can I just order a master pin for a 450c or do I need to go to Berco and get a master pin from them? Any ideas?

Re: Front Idler
Getting that pin out is by far the worst thing I've ever done to my loader...sheesh....When I order new rails, they are going to have the 2 piece split master.

Front Idler
My front idler has failed, it's squealing and rubbing against the rock guards. I'm going to have to tear it apart and I'm not sure I can get the master pin drove out on my own. I'm thinking about buying a split master link, I assume I'd cut a link apart but I still have to drive out two pins and ins...

Re: Inherited an Early Straight 350
Might be springs, the springs that were fully compressed for 17 years are probably pretty lame. Once it's running at all, I think the stuck would be about gone, you may have to do as you suggest and pull the head in the field. It won't take long at all on a standard 350.

Re: Engine Swap
Ya, I'm about 45 minutes from Springfield so that's an option. If I could of heard the motor run , see the oil pressure I'd be interested at 3500 I think it just the unknown of it all. Weird thing is he has a complete backhoe attachment and only wants 2,000 for that which I think is a bargain. I wis...
