Barely enough here to snowmobile, almost as bad as last winter. Going to pull the great nieces and nephews around the yard some today, but that is about it. Quit hogging all the snow, send me a foot or so. We need one good blizzard so they can at least start grooming. Lavoy Heck I'm 90 miles from y...

From what I can find out they made a total of about 2200 or so of the T4/5 and TD5 crawlers and 8,025 T340's. They were available with/without blade, loader, ripper, winch, rear PTO and 3 point plus narrow to wide gauge. They had live hydraulics with a pump driven off the timing gears and the transm...

I think part of the whole IH crawler thing is the main company sold too many times or merged too many times. The industrial side selling to Dresser way back do not help any either. I have done a little digging just because, and looks like I can get steering clutches, pressure plates and such. Engin...

About all it's good for is shows. None of the undercarriage parts are available from any source. And this is surprising to me at least is that no one on the IH side, with as many crawlers they made, is doing as Lavoy has done and get reproduction parts made.

Kinda cute. If it had a blade I'd be interested.

As far as paint goes most, if not all of those were painted red. Last ones where red was the common color was the T/Td 4 and 5. So that was sold as an industry model.

Wow, I would scrap it before I sold it for that. Just saw a T340 bring over $8000, so I think they are a little off. Thanks for checking, will get a pic posted so you guys can see it. Lavoy I thought it was a little off too. Especially in this area (East ND and northern MN) where crawler prices are...

Re: T5 IH wide gauge crawler

Okay, not green, so definitely off topic, but it does have tracks. I happened to come into possession of an IH T5 wide gauge crawler. From what little I have found, scarce as hens teeth. I just don't have time to add another crawler to the "to be restored before I die list", which in all likelihood...

Hi, Wow. That would be a great thing to haul to shows. The IH crowd around here never has a TracTractor of any sort, much less a Super R(are).... I am too broke to tackle a restoration at this time, tho.... Stan Stan, the Redpower site has a construction forum so that's kind covered. When IH got in...

Hi, Sounds like a great deal to me. :) I always like the 'ran fine when we parked it' line. I translate that to 'was running until this point right here'... :P Stan I have a related story about that- went to a major international construction auction a few years ago and they had a diesel forklift t...

Hi, Well, that D4 surely sounds worth going broke on. Especially if that 75% is 'our' measurement and not a 'sellers' version (which means the tracks stay on for 3 out of 4 turns).... ;) Stan :o Stan yea I think I'm a little better off than that! But the condition of the tracks were then first thin...

Hi, You typed the post title wrong. Let me fix that for you: I Bought A Down Dozer And (am) Broke At this point, I am afraid to use a smiley..... :P And, this isn't a Deere vs Cat comment. It is, unfortunately, a Dozer Truth... Stan LOL I've been told that a few times! The pony carb and steering br...

Nice!! That's what we had on the ranch. Is the fuel tank behind the seat or beside you? Does the pony motor have electric start? If you need any tech info, I'm pretty sure I have the service manuals and a parts manual, and I could pass on the info. Wayne OK thanks. I don't have any of the manuals y...
