JD 1010 crawler ID
I am looking at a 1010 dozer that appears to be smaller than the 1010 in my back yard. One of the differences is it has 4 rollers versus 5 rollers on the undercarriage of the one I have. Serial number is 1010 C 22041. Wondering what's up with that.

I used the site's dedicated photo hosting page, http://jdcrawlers.lcent.com:8000/johndeere/albums/userpics/ ht...

I might be mistaken but I think that is the numbers for the loader part of your machine. The machine serial number plate on the one I have is on the right side of engine.

440 IDC Is this what I think It is?
Does this lever lock in both my left and right drives?
I see that no photo is showing so...It's located just left and forward of my shifter on transmission.

Anyone have any idea why my hydraulic pump is mounted in this fashion? It has a short shaft connected to crank.
