If it was actually restored, will make a big difference in worth. If the pins and bushings are good, has the correct blade, etc. etc. is a major factor. Polk bought all of those out of the Oregon mans collection, and junkers are $2500, and the better ones were $8500. A really good BO with blade was ...

Seems like one of the biggest problems is differences in States regs. Whats OK in one is not in the other. And we all cross state lines to go to shows ands sales. Also think DOT could be clearer on personal use and "for hire". Even locally it is a crap shoot. When I was setting up my rig and licensi...

After nearly 6 months of waiting, My M14 paperwork came through and I picked it up from the class 3 dealer. Shoots really well and grouped tight on single fire. Tried a few 3 shot bursts and found I couldn't hold it as well as I once could!! She walked off the paper. But I don't care because it is r...

Update on M14. ATF cashed my transfer tax check in April. My dealer checked with ATF recently, and my application is still at the fingerprint check stage. And some people want the government to run health care!!!!!!!!! Would think my background check would be easy, with 26 years in the Marine Corps!...

Lavoy, don't understand why no one will make them. If we were to believe the newscasters, this economy is so bad, every one is looking for new business. I would think that many small factories that sold to the auto makers would be looking for opportunities to keep going. Unfortunately, that may be w...

Hey Last Chance. Always liked the Garand. Had good luck with Lake City National Match ammo in both 06 and 308. Finally held my ( soon to be) M14 at my class 3 dealers yesterday. Got the sherriff to sign off on it, now the paperwork is off to BATF for OK before I can actually take possession of it. G...

Hey Gus. That was a good read on Shilohs web site. BAR was my first choice, but a bit pricey for first sub-gun. Enjoyed shooting it in ITR. 3 round bursts were great at 600 yards. Have a BAR parts kit built on a dummy receiver as a wall hanger. Maybe someday I'll get the real deal. Pat. PS: that is ...
