To get the lines/hoses routed correctly I believe you're going to have to lower the belly pan. I'm in North Carolina so I know what you mean about the bugs.

When you say the oil dumped out, was that immediately? Like as fast as you poured it in, it was running out? On my machine the both of the lines running from the pump have been replaces with hoses. I also had the added bonus of them using a galvanized street ell for one of the fittings. If the oil i...

Do you have any of the manuals yet?

With mine the seat bottom removes so I can get to the steering linkage and check the transmission oil level.

it is 1800 psi but it is not the pressure it is the fact that you can FEEL when the rollers are full with a reg. grease gun you cant FEEL it and they dont hold oil very well. the roller seals wont take more than a few psi. i would bet so a gauge on a reg. gun wont do you any good ..... i have one o...

Thank you, I PM'd Lavoy, I need to get a casting number off the pump housing. I will use a mirror and see if I can see some sort of casting number off it.

There should have been a seal in it like jtrichard says or that was the first problem I had a service man crush the plastic bushing when installing the shaft not once but twice .We now do this job our selves But what I like about Deere water pumps is you can rebuild them over and over again .I woul...

Upper Radiator mounts

I got some new upper radiator mounts as mine were trash. There is a long side and a short side, which side goes towards the radiator bracket? Also, what size pop rivet do I need?

Thanks

it was my understanding that if it ran good with the return valve removed then the head was most likely ok? i thought another post on here said that but maybe i read it wrong. By what you are posting I would say your head is good. The items you are going to need are; Seal Kit 24371, $14.62 Pilot tu...

sounds like its toast ... you just have to be good and fast and you can change it with out much oil loss Understood.. I'm not running the machine that hard right now. I've been running down hydraulic leaks right now and I may have to pull the belly pan at some point. Just fixed one major leak point...

sounds like the pump ... search "mouse turds" it will tell you what you most likely have I agree. The same thing happened to me. Bought the machine, got it home and after about 5 hours mine exhibited the same exact behavior. Did the research bought the parts and repaired the pump. I believe when it...

I have found the senor, thanks all. I believe I'm going to wait until I do a transmission oil change before I replace the sensor. I have had thoughts of putting the sensor up by the filter ahead of the cooler since its easier to get at and the wire would be less likely to be ripped off by debris. An...
