This issue comes up from time to time (often unintentionally when someone is just trying to help). My advice is always to contact Lavoy first. He will let you know if the part is something he doesn't carry and whether it is a Deere-only part or an aftermarket part (or no longer available which means...

I guess if there is a silver lining is that both the engine clutch and the HLR input shaft are in the same spot so you will find out either way.

My money is on a broken HLR input shaft due to loose or broken transmission bellhousing bolts. That would also cause no function to the HLR or anything behind it while the engine is running.

That surely is a good deal- not sure for me it is worth the hassle to try and arrange shipping with the seller, unless you know the seller.

If they were late 2010 NOS sprockets I would probably be on a plane to get them!

I agree with what has been said- I had to get corn head grease at my John Deere ag dealer. It was pretty funny when I did because I ordered several tubes and they remarked "what you have a couple of corn heads to out up for the winter"? When I told them it was for crawler track rollers they thought ...

I would agree with Stan's assessment, given that I NEVER drop a track on level or dry ground.

450 Pipelayer Dozer in June 2 Purplewave Auction- Kansas

Good afternoon- I thought some of you may be interested in checking out this 450 dozer listed on PurpleWave; it has the pipelayer attachment but others on here have successfully removed it to have a functioning dozer. It is located in western Kansas. https://www.purplewave.com/auction/160602/item/K4...

Some heat from a Rosebud on the master track link should also help to get things moving as long as you are careful not to overheat- and if that fails you could always torch out the master pin.

First of all, welcome to the board. Please realize that few of us are one here professionally so we reply when we can, and although there may have been a lot of views not everyone has the knowledge to provide meaningful feedback (although if you want a zinger, we can do that too ;) ) Before we go a ...

You need to be very careful in what you do here to make sure you have the hydraulic lines hooked up the way they need to be, or at a minimum you could blow a pump and worst case someone could get hurt. The question you need to answer first is- do both the crawler and the hoe use the same flow system...

You should be able to share it the same way as photos if using a sharing site like Photobucket, using the "url" function. That would provide a link for people to click on that would take you to the video at the location it is housed. I don't know that you would be able to use the "img" function and ...

Re: Diference btwn 450E and 450G?

Is there someplace I can go to see a side by side comparison between the two?. I can't answer that directly (although you could look at the spec sheets on the murphy Tractor website), but these threads also discuss differences. http://www.jdcrawlers.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=6697&highlight=4...
