another option if you have any axel nut sockets or heavy wall pipe slightly larger than the cylinder liner OD a 3/4" threaded rod and fabricate a plate for the bottom of the liner and screw it out done them both ways

keep pressure on liner and use a block of wood and a 8 lb sledge hammer on top of the block to persuade it loose

the sea foam product i used was hydra tune for hydraulic oil the one you posted I believe is for auto trans fluid but there are mostly all the same

sea foam makes a hydraulic additive for moisture in oil have tried it and it works i also have a 450 C

sounds as if all your trouble is in your transmission I think i would take trans cover off and take look see inside , if your reverses was clean you should do a pressure test on your reverser it will give some insite as wether that is functioning properly

recently did liners on a 350 had small cracks between cylinders also and put back together head gasket should seal water out have not had any problems

for the paint just go to a JD dealer get the early construction yellow you do not have to worry about match cheaper than automotive paint reasonably priced also gallons and spray !!!!

possible problem there is a splined coupling between the reverser and trans that wears out only way to check is take apart may have other problems seeing that it stalls engine

you need to clean your tank and blow all your lines out I took my pump apart my self and there was rust from water getting through filters and that is what seized the rotor shaft that broke the drive shaft this was on a 302 john deere industrial tractor

most likely your pump is froze up may need to replace that is what i ended up doing the rotor assembly is like $800.00 with pump repair your at 1200 to 1500 so I purchased a new from JD. had the shaft my 302 Jd industrial tractor break you need to pull cover on front and remove retainer nut then strike shaft to release shaft from gear as it is a tapered shaft
somehow my timing gears jumped and it was necessary to remove front engine cover and reset gear timing
