Do you know what the sn. is for the first and last 420C off the line was?? I know the 430C were numbered differently that the wheeled 430's but the 420's were all in the mix.

Thank you Lavoy. I might hold off a while on the seat. I have a frame but I believe that it is off of a 420w. It will work for now but I think I am going to focus on the fenders and the 4 spool set up. I have been watching ebay and some other areas and have not had any luck. Without them the crawler...

Well Bill, sorry for the almost identical post. When I checked the board last I did not see any of the post after 11:10 am for some reason. Thank you though for all the help.

Well, I just looked at Lab-Metal's home page and they are located in the UK. They do not list any dealers and only ship their product currently in the main land UK. So, any other ideas on how I can find this stuff??

That sounds like the way to go. The track frame has already been sandblasted and primed. I guess that I will need to resandblast the pitted part to remove the paint so the product will be able to bond to the metal? Where can you find this product?? Automotive store? Thanks again for the help

Thank you for all the information. I'm not sure which way I will do it yet. I intend on using the crawler a little for some fun in the dirt but I'm not sure if I will go ahead and cut the plate out and weld a new one in or use the body filler. If I was to cut the plate out what size plate would you ...

Track frame pitting

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what to do about track frame pitting? The 420C that I have has considerable pitting on the track frame and I think it would not look good to do a full restoration on the crawler and then have the track frames looking like crap due to the heavy pit...

Thank you for the help. I will keep my eyes open for all of it. I'm guessing that my best luck will be on the net because there are not a lot of crawlers in this neck of the woods... :)
