These folks advertise a lot of forks on ePay, the link is to one of their cheaper sets. I have never seen them in person just the auctions on ePay. Don't know if you want this style or want to remove your bucket. Bryce http://cgi.ebay.com/Loader-Forks-Bucket-Forks-Skid-Tractor-Pallet-Fork_W0QQitemZ2...

I would try someone like Baldwin Filters ( www.baldwinfilters.com ) If there is a store in your vicinity that sells them you could go look in their catalog and might find a direct replacement. I am using a Balcwin dry paper filter for the air cleaner on my 440ICD. It and a piece of exhaust pipe was ...

I BOUGHT one at Yellowhouse. That's the name of my local JD Industrial dealer. The green tractor people did not want to talk about a 440ICD. LOL

Two of the arrows in the picture you posted point to the line and boot I listed the part numbers for previously. You appear to be missing the Rod, governor to injector link (p/n 5121239) and two joint, ball, 1/4" (p/n 5118491) and the jam nuts Nut, hex, 1/4" (p/n 121904). You really nead a parts lis...

The part listed above is actually mounted on the governor and is called; lever, governor throttle speed adjusting shaft. Is that the part you need or the C shaped part that runs thru the side of the head in to the rack? It is 5121240, link, and the rubber boot, that seals the side of the head, is 51...

What I did on mine was; first take the tank off and clean the trash out of the tank and the outlet from the tank. At this time I built a new line over to the filter. and incorporated a shutoff valve at the bottom of the tank. Next I got the correct size element and put it in the filter housing. My t...

Lavoy Well it looks like you are goimg to be doing a little bit of travelling. Are your pans to repair it or part it out? Or have to wait to see it in person to decide? If you decide to part it out, what would you want for the complete seat assembly? Apparently my 440ICD/831 has the lowback seat plu...

John Deere Crawler on ePay

Lavoy Have you noticed auction no. 290080475592 ? It is a 440IC/831 half disassembled just about as far across N. Dakota as you can get from you. I had never thought of taking a loader apart like that to get in to work on the engine. Bryce http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2900...

The best thing I ever saw used on a broken EZ-Out was a EDM machine. Thats Electron Discharge Machining. If the item with the broken piece in it can be gotten into the EDM machine< it will remove the broken part slickly. Maybe a plasma cutter aimed at he end??

Stan You left out Mr. Gauss and his units for measurement of magnetic fields. I went thru USN Electronic Technician School in 59-60 and they taught strictly electron flow and used Left Hand Rules for the relationship between current , magnetic fields, and motor rotation. Then 20 years later SMU was ...
