Stacking is not factory, and no factory linkages or lever exist to do so, you will have to fabricate most of it. Sideways on the fender is the only configuration for dual hydraulics that is factory.
It will work, that is not an issue, it is just whatever your preference is.

Re: 350 blade arms packed solid with mud/debris
I would echo the power washer, done basically the same thing on trackframes on the 2-cylinder crawlers. It works well, just let it soak up and start to disrupt the hardened dirt, and it gradually washer out.

Same difference, 90% of the clutch parts on ebay are them. I would say junk pressure plate all things being equal. I know their pressure plates, thrown a couple new ones in the scrap dumpster.

Did you use Ebay parts? My apologies if you got them from me and I just don't recognize you.

Re: fuel additive
I would add that modern fuel is no more likely to plug a pump than fuel of 50 years ago. I am also going to assume you are talking about a 350 or later crawler, and a diesel as well. If you are having plugging issues of any sort, it is not a fault of the fuel unless you have contaminated fuel which ...

Yes, machine shop would need to do it, it isn't expensive, cheap insurance. Ask them as to doing both intake and exhaust.

Re: Straight 550 transmission
Like many other aspects of all crawler, lack of maintenance is what I often see talked about as a reason for failure, specifically not changing the trans filter because it is hard to do. This probably means that the fluid did not get changed much either.

In general, you do not read anything good about the 550 transmissions. I would say you are looking at a tear down, sorry.

Any of the J20 spec lubes is my preference as well, or Hygard direct from Deere.

Yes, AW32 is what you want. If you are in warmer climes, you can use AW48 as well.
Yes on the GL5, but flush the trans with diesel or kerosene and get as much moisture out as possible first.

If no diverter, likely not a hoe crawler, so will be small pump, and the J hooks will probably not have the heavier bracing of a hoe crawler either.
