FRONT SEAL / BUSHING

cluth housing

one line has a fitting that has to be turned to remove the housing i think it has a set screw on it and you will turn it about a 1\4 turn its been 4 years since i pulled mine out but i think thats what i had to do

i find that if you use a roll split pin punch that they come out pretty smoothly the punchs cost a bit but they will make life easy good luck

note as lavoy has warned us about in the past the plug has taped threads be careful heating them or you may split the cases on you machine search old posts lavoy spells out good luck i welded nuts on some in the past to remove cary

poor running

i have a case unloader and went on a big hunt to make it run right after a lot of trial and error i found the lobe that the point ride on had rust pit and wore away the wiper arm on the points after a short time it make changes in both timming and spark hunted for a new dist and could not find one b...

my service manaul # sm-2064 the specs are on page 140-25-1 list under steering clutches the book list the steels at 0.090-0.096 and the composition plates are 0.185-0.189 if you need a copy let me know i will copy the page and fax it to you hope this helps great pictures of your tear down keep up th...

draining tank

i use a 10 dollar suchion hose that you can buy at most auto parts stores shake it back and fourth and i will drain tank with no mess

draining fluid

i use a 10.00 self priming suction hose no mess easy to use pull out the filter in the top of the tank drop it in shake it and it will drain in about 5 mins and no mess
