Usually blue wire is brakes( from truck)

Before starting, fill rad, then see if there is a coolant hose, plug, fitting near back top of cyl head, ( as high as posible) loosen
and see if air or coolant comes out ( bleeding the coolant system) , tighten, top up rad start and see if it make a difference.
Just a thought.

Anyone else have a new clutch plate they could measure the thickness ( engine) ?

Lavoy, could you measure the thickness of a new engine clutch plate. The one I have I supposed to be next to new before I dismantled, but I would like to be sure. Tks

Maybe engine at one time was laying on its side for a period of time? If engine turns over with starter, I would try and start it. If it starts and exhaust cleans up after a few minutes, you are ok.
