Found a pair of armstrong 9" #67-555 lock ring pliers that open to 1 1/2 " ordered them hope they will solve my difficulty have done three other cylinders with the parallel jaw ones but have never been able to completely remove the lock ring have had to use a screw drive pry them off or when install...

parallel snap ring pliers

I am working some JD hydraulic cylinders would like to purchases a large parallel
snap ring plier the one I have opens to 1 1/4 inches is just a little to small to reassembly been doing internet search all I can find are the same as what I already have.even tried dealer tool websites.

injector removal

there are small slide hammers available makes removal super easy.

I totally destroyed a set in my 350 have since purchased a puller and changed injectors on a 302 tractor with no problems check online .

just bought a set new stanydine from northern diesel control in MI 73.58 each check your area for a shop that does injection service.

D B electrical has new just over 100.00 just got one for my 302 three cylinder diesel. used them for alternator also on my 350

John deere uses a special oil in their machines expensive at JD after market called universal tractor oil TSC carries.A 10 W hyd oil is not good for the system.By what your describing their is a coupling between the reverser and transmission that could be slipping which happened to my 359 dozer majo...

350 won't move

Had the same problem It was the coupling between the reverser and transmission I was using mine when it stopped moving. So if your reverser checks out most likely that is the problem . The fix required removal of blade radiator engine and reverser.Found coupling on EBay.

If you go to john deere parts online set up an account for yourself you can

access your machine including the hydraulic valve and order what you need

right from deere not sure about pricing.

When I did mine on my 350 my valve and pump were Cessena I found a pump kit online and bought it from an aircraft repair garage for the valve seals I used with a place called Martin fluid power they are all over the US not sure if they are in AK.If you have a parts book JD most likely should be able...
