Just got home and it is late, but I think the caps are $25, seat cushion sets vary in price depending on quality, but $75-$100 pretty much covers it unless you want the little clip on arm rests too.

Larry,
Thd 430W has been sitting in the yard for two weeks on the box scraper, I should have done the same thing you did. Then at least no one would give me a hard time for not putting it away.

The flapper lets air in, not 100% sure what it is for, but my guess has always been to maybe help prevent over choking.

Don't mistake a portable track press for a master pin press. There were portable track presses if you wanted to rebush a set of rails in the field.
I think WTC wants somewhere over $500 for their gold plated manual master pin remover, but it has been several years since I priced it.

Last quote I got on a WTC master pin press was about $8000, not sure if that included tooling.

I know a track press company that makes a master pin remover that is just a piece of square tubing with a clamp and a long punch through it. Looks like a slick setup, I think it can be bought for around $1000, isn't that a joke.

About the easiest way to do it is to break the old manfold into pieces. Usually the long bolt will stick itself in the manifold so bad that it will never turn. If you break the manifold up, you can turn the cast iron that is stuck to the bolt and hopefully rotate the bolt out.

Broken heads are quite common on them, but so is a leaky head gasket. If you did not use something like Kopper Kote or Copper Spray a Gasket when installing the head, good chance that is the problem. As long as the head is off, have it magnafluxed to be sure.
