im trying to replace the seals in my 420 dozer but cant get the quills to move, i removed all 6 bolts,put a steel rod into the spare hole that looks like the brake rod would go there if it was on the other side. i have used a air chiesel with a ball joint seperator on this rod with no luck. i have c...

i didnt check the shape of the bearings, now i guess well it is apart i will put new seals and bearings in. i hope the axle doesnt need welding like some of the ones ive read about on here. to many projects not enough time.. Eric..

hard starting

hello ben, i dont think that you have sticky valves,if that was so it wouldnt run any better in the summer vs the winter. it sounds to me that you have a carb issue, in the winter you have to choke the engine to give it extra fuel, not so much in the summer. you dont need to warm the engine i think ...
