Newbie brings the 420's Home
Well we brought home the 420's today and now need some questions answered. Has anyone used the electronic system instead of points/condenser and if you did what do you think? The previous owner also used nuts on the back side of the sprocket bolts and there is clearance but the dowels are not there....

Well guys it looks as if I am now the proud owner of 2 420C's. Have numerous questions that only you guys can answer. 420 4 Roller with 62 Blade
Was the 420 4 roller available with the 62 blade from JD originally? I have looked at two and they seem to look OK. Any other thoughts on this combo for yard work/play would be helpful. Thanks Eric

420c newbie question again
Can anyone tell me if I am blind or the couple sets of pictures of some 420c's I have looked at do not seem to have the top idler roller? Also should they be yellow or green and would the serial number help me so I know before buying? Anything else to look for on the 420. Thanks for any info
