You really do need to do the adjustment procedure. That will give you the answer. what the steering lever actually does is first it disengages the clutch by applying pressure to the fingers to release the clutch and just a fraction later the brake is applied to stop that track. and the other track i...

not sure what the MC's steering compares to the jd440ic, i assume Lavoy went thru the adjustment issue and would appear conclusions are needing new clutches and brakes for the steering? I am 76 and was able to replace my left side steering with help from a female friend of family, thou i did rig up ...

yup ...except pull my 33ft wag along camper!, without tearing the rear end out, shoulda got a 5th or goose..stabilizers don't do job..not at highway travels anyway.

guess i shoulda posted the cost of my 2015 all terrain gmc back in jan 2018...thought it was ridiculous 26k for a 2 yr old 50k miles came from Texas, love it...but most i ever paid for brand new truck or suv was 5500 back in 77...(that was $77per month and no down payment or trade) .and now i wonder...

need to clarify...is this machine new to you...has it been sitting...outside??? and have you attempted to adjust? you appear to have a manual, each adjustment must be followed exactly in order to adjust properly
