trying to see if there is any interest in used chain links and bottom rollers. I have two chains and 6 bottom rollers, they are off 1010 that I rebuilt the bottom and got new parts from Lavoy. does it run good once you get it going? a compression test should be done to see if compression is good to eliminate that as the source of your problem. sounds like either choke isn't working causing it to be cold blooded or choke is working and ignition system is producing weak spark and she floods...

not much beyond adjusting can be done through the cover, removing final drive is the only way to service the brake or drive clutches. if your brake band adjustment is setup too tight you will get the same grabbing effect you describe. try to back off on the brake band adjustment and see if she works...

the whole thing is held together by it's own pressure against the front idler, thats why I collapse the tube into the front yoke and then slid the yoke assembly back forward with a come along, taking the pressure off the spring and tube that fits into the spring. you should then be able to remove th...
