Are there one or two lock pins on the adjustment ring? Manual indicates two pins are used. OK, decided it is one locking pin. Should the adjustment ring be rotated upwards or downward to tighted the front clutch? I have moved the ring 1/2 of an adjustment step but need to know which way to adjust si...

Thanks, about what I thought. I will try and see if I can adjust the front clutch and get it a little tigher. Likely just needs a small adjustment but if I do not do it now, it will not get done once I drive this out of my garage. I am planning on draining and replacing the reverser oil. Can I add t...

440 Reverser
Several questions regarding a 440 reverser. 1) Rear clutch seems fine but the front clutch pull is low (17 pounds). Any tricks on adjusting this on a 440 loader? The loader support is in the way and I need an inspection mirror just to look in the access port. Adjusting this thing is not going to be ...

440ICD Main Clutch Adjustment
Lavoy: Parts arrived and I am installing the main clutch. Any adjustment to the pressure plate? Should I use the same gauge as the steering clutch?

440ICD Air Cleaner
Looking for an air cleaner for a 440ICD. I have most of mine but am missing some parts (inner cup and bottom cup). Interested either in the parts or a full air cleaner assembly.

440ICD Generator (12V)
Need to test the generator on my 440ICD. It was disconnected when I bought the crawler so likely has issues. I currently have the engine out and the generator off. If this thing works, I should be able to hook it up to a battery and spin it. Want to make sure I do this correctly. The battery (+) sho...

Lavoy: I will send you a check. Does that include shipping? Also, do you happen to have a used flywheel ring gear (P/N AM648T). Mine has about 8 teeth that are rusted away pretty bad. I could build them back up if required with silver solder (works pretty well) and is as strong as the orginal teeth....

I believe there are 2 bolts near the top of the clutch housing and then 4 studs, two on each side of the engine. As far as I can tell, that is all that connects the clutch housing to the engine. I tried pushing in the clutch a few times, still hung up. Time to get my son on the other side so we can ...

Brad: Thanks. I am trying to separate the engine between the clutch housing and what I htink is called the flywheel cover. The reverser is behind the clutch housing. I took a peek in the access cover in the clutch housing and everything looks very clean. So will keep wiggling and prying to see if th...
