Re: John Deere 450b
Turbo is under the hood about mid-engine. Find the heavy flexible rubber hose supplying pressurized oil to the turbo. Follow that hose back, you should then find the port block, unless someone has heavily modified.

Re: John Deere 450b
Good morning, If turbocharged, the oil supply line to the turbo should have a steel block with multiple ports on the right side of the engine. The should be an electric oil sending unit screwed into the port pointing up. And a wire heading to the oil gauge in the dash. Yes, there is an oil return fi...

Re: Stabilizer cylinder seal assembly help
Good morning Al, I have not experienced this particular situation. But, I would place the open lip of the V’s toward the part of the cylinder that would experience the most amount of work. In the case of a stabilizer cylinder it would do the majority of work while in the down position supporting the...

Re: JD 450C no crank
Sorry to hear about this struggle. I’m afraid to say, but I went this same exact way. I had multiple failures with starter and rebuilds. The joy of owning/operating old equipment.

Re: John Deere 555A - Low Engine/Transmission Pressure - 200 Hours on Engine
Low oil pressure could be the oil pump. If the is enough wear on the oil pump to cause this low oil pressure, there has to be significant wear on the rod and main bearings. And the cam bearings. Let the track soak in hard water for a per of time. Then use them to keep them loose. Best regards, Bruce

Re: Dry steering clutch idea
Holding the levers back on a dry clutch while covered is a good idea. The levers could be blocked back or tied back.

Re: 40c Ignition problems
I have been having the same problem with condensers. Mis firing simulating a lean running engine when starting to and a work load, hard starting, no start etc. I have not found a reliable new source. I have been using NOS OEM from Deere with Green and Black 4 legged Deeres. I have used the 12 volt n...

I really like my buckle level indicator. I have a 450C. Using it all the time, it would be a worth while improvement.

Re: Neutral Safety Switch Pigtail (450C)
You are correct the neutral safety connector and the stater button connector are the same. Unfortunately I don’t have a source!
