Delo 100 40wt.
i searched around and found some chevron Delo 100 40 wt. at of all places... a boating supply store, named west marine,,$90 and for 5 bucks more would ship a 5 gallon jug to your door(until Christmas).. hohoho!!that stuff ain't cheap no more!!!

i remembered that harbor freight has a hand held non contact tachometer for $40, uses the reflective tape method.

do you have a gasser or jimmy? i was wondering the same thing and was actually able to count the revs on my diesel at slowest idle. but would like to know what the rpm is when operating,,, i've been told by an old catskinner that it don't matter if you just "run" the thing, so i guess it would just ...

lowest part of dash pillar lower left hole
well i decided i'd fill up that hole, i took a piece of angle iron and mashed it up a bit, welded, and a bit of spot putty and a shot of paint and now you can't even tell, not even when you look for it,,, i don't know what that hole was for, my guess, maybe a pair of hyd. hoses? updating my own post...

i am glad somebody spoke up,
i went and got some transport yellow(valspar brand) and yes it does look good,
2 gallons for less than one at deere, plus i like the fact that i can get a rattlecan for touch ups,,,
so the next question is, did anybody use primer,, the red or the gray???

ya i agree with you digitup, i recall being on a cat D8 2u series that was built to go thru anything,,, and would,,, swamps, rivers, canyons,, mudholes, big cottonwoods,,, we had several of that series,,,together we would go stumping all day into the evening but i didn't like looking past the glowin...
