450C Clutch Control Valve (HLR)

Has anyone played with the clutch control valve? Here is an issue that I have had with mine and maybe someone can shed some light. When I'm in 2nd speed gear and have High Range selected. If I stop by pressing in the clutch, when I release the clutch it takes some time before the clutch pack fully e...

I agree, some of the lines on mine were brazed/welded. When they ruptured, they did it in a different area.

I had thought about that as well, but the WP shaft comes up through the raised pilot of the older fan. Total thickness of the adapter is .813 which I believe will still give me more than enough clearance between the fan and the radiator. Older fan wasn't into the shroud. I have a 19" (19.25) reverse...

Once I get the correct fan diameter I can get a reverse rotation fan, just need the adapter which we can machine here. New Replacement Fan has bolt hole circle of 1.75 to 2.5. The WP bolt circle is 2.5, pilot diameter of the JD water pump is 1.5, pilot diameter of the fan is 5/8. Simple fix, gonna m...

He can try that, hopefully the linkage under the cover is what the problem is. The governor assembly and related internal linkage of all these pump is basically the same, what makes the difference is the number of cylinders and the amount of fuel being injected. The governor and related linkage thro...

Lavoy, Std PN was DP20473, rev PN is AT27701. 20" Diameter, 6 blades. 1.5 pilot hole, 2.5" bolt circle, 4 mounting holes with a .343 hole size. It's (was :? ) a pusher. Going to try and get the nose off today.

I will see if the bone yard has a used fan and what it may cost. I've some some research and have found that Flex a Lite offers replacement automotive type fan blades as well relatively inexpensive, ~ $60 I would have to make an adapter to adapt it to the JD water pump but I believe it could be done...

pump is a reman, just freshly installed. Could it be fubar'ed already? Old guy thinks it's working or engine would not rev at all. The pump is working, kinda, the centrifugal governor assembly is not working correctly. I can get into a long desertion about how it operates but the short of the long ...

Alright, he got it to start on it's own with the 180 re-time, but say's it's revving out of control now, what gives? You ask about the injector pump being replaced, the old guy said in was pooched not pumping fuel to cylinders. symptoms: slowly idled down on it's own and stalled, started back up, w...

Doing a search with that number brought up a couple sites. here's one http://bulldig.com/114792/ No prices…that's always scary! Tried that web site and it leads you around in circles when you try to contact the supposed seller. There's a crawler bone yard about 60 miles away, I'll try them first. A...

Well the water pump was certainly my vibration but I haven't replaced it yet....... Water pump bearing went completely out and the fan hit the lower pulley.... Cut the lower rad hose and chopped a section out of the belt.... and a couple of the fan bladed are not meant for this world. Thankful...

Right now the only way to make sure it's timed correctly is to remove the rocker cover and look at the valves and insert the pin into the flywheel. On the left side of the engine toward the flywheel clutch are area you will see a pin screwed into the block. Remove it. When that pin goes into the fly...
