Chuck,
They should be able to look it up by application. The Fram number is C138PL.
Gas is higher than that here, and if it doesn't quit raining soon, I will have salmon running in my lawn!

Are you looking for just the pinion shaft, or the ring and pinion set?
I should have a set in a transmission yet, slight chance I would have just the pinion.

Look at the offending clutch pack. There are 3 small links that actuate it, and sometimes a pin will fall out, or I have had the plate itself break.

I ran Dad's Buick diesel out of fuel one time. They were a pig to bleed, local fuel man sprayed WD40 in the intake, and it would start on that. I have run a couple with the fuel primer, I still don't know why it works, but in cold weather it does, but you have to have good glow plugs, or it is a was...

Okay, never thought of it being a clutch type reverser. On that one, you will likely have to remove the clutch pedal for access. Jim, Glad to hear the old girl is doing well, but I can not believe it likes the sun better than the snow. I sure wish you would send her back. In fact, I missed it so bad...

Tod,
I do not have the reverser here, it is 50 miles from me, and still in the crawler.

Make sure both cables, and all connections are good. I have had cables that looked good be bad before. Clutch pedal should not affect battery removal unless you are talking about a loader crawler.

Yes, adjustment as outlined in the manual. Yeah, with a loader they are a real pain to do anything on. I really hate to have you pull the reverser out again, that is not fun either. Double check that you are adjusting the offending clutch pack as the book recommends, but barring that, looks like you...

It still sounds like an adjustment in the one clutch pack. The only other thing that comes to mind it there is a broken piece in the clutch pack somewhere. You could pull the shifter rail off and look in there to see.

If you have any air at all in the lines, you will not get the engine to run. The air acts as a cushion for the injector pulse, kind of like the expansion tank above your water heater. It absorbs all of the pulse, so the pressure never gets high enough to open the injector. Keep in mind you are deali...
