Smokey, I have a JD450 with a 92 hoe attached. At least I think it is a 92. I bought it for a pipe project and now I am going to sell it. I could be persuaded to sell just the hoe. I live near the Pgh airport.

350 pad measurement

I have noticed my 350 crawler/loader seems to spin/slip a lot, on soft ground. It appears the track pads are worn down. I have found new track chains & pads to replace these. What is the height on new pads? So I can compare to the worn ones I have now. The pads are the 3 bar version. My current pads...

I tore the linkage apart today & I might be able to repair everything just by
reaming out all the worn holes & using larger pins. I am not the greatest
machinist, but I think it is doable.

Can you recommend a dealer? I went to the local JD dealer near Pgh, PA & they looked at me like I had two heads!! The counter man never heard of a
450 loader.

450 loader control linkage

I'm looking for parts or a complete setup for the control linkage on my 450 loader. I had to make my own for my 350, but I was hoping the 450 parts might be available.

Jason, would you have any pics of the setup/attachments. This sounds just like my kind of project. I'd like to rig it, so I can detach like my 450 hoe

I have a 450 with a hoe hanging on the back, & it struggles. My 350 has a winch mounted on the rear, so I know it has a PTO available.

Back hoe for a 350

After reading about how over bearing a factory JD back hoe setup is on a 350, I was wondering if anyone ever tried attaching a back hoe from a skid steer. Being it would be smaller & lighter, I'm quite sure the 350 could handle it. Opinions?

450 radiator

Running my 450 on Friday & had the misfortune of the water pump shaft breaking. To make it worse, the fan got into the radiator. Now I'm looking for a water pump, fan, & radiator. Anything available out there?

The original cable has too many bends in it. The pump is on the left side & the cable control is on the right side of the gauge panel. It would make sense to me to mount the throttle control on the left side of the gauges, so the cable is inline with the pump. Any thoughts on this?

Looking for JD450 throttle cable

Anyone know where I can find a throttle cable for my 450??. I recently purchased the machine, but found the cable is seized/rusted pretty bad.
I get very little movement to the pump.

I was all excited about finding the parts I needed, until I looked very close at the diagram & found mine to be a little different. What is the difference between a 93 or 95 hoe? I don't know which I have. The part I need is what the joy stick threads into.

Tigerhaze, Thanks millions for the link. I found just what I need in the breakdown. I'll contact JD & see how bad they are gonna stick me for the parts.
