Look on E-bay, there are usually some manuals on there cheaper than new.

Now that you mention it, there is a vent hole on the block, and I know on another Detroit I have seen blowby coming out of it, I think that a certain amount is normal.

You can get a replacement tach from Deere, but it will be the later style, and for a wheel tractor, only good for hours and PRM.

The entire clutch must be assembled and on the final drive before any adjustments can be done. Trying to do it otherwise will not work. The gauge is a reference point based on the face of the brake drum.
Yes I mean the part of the finger that the throwout bearing pushes against.

The ends of the gauge rest on the face of the drum, and you adjust the fingers until they just clear the spot marked STEERING on the tool.

Can't give a fast answer, it would take some research to see if I can even get the correct stuff to even begin machining.
As far as I know, there are no parts available for the pump.

They are hard to come by, I have been planning on making new couplers and the splined shaft, but just have not had time. If yours is bad, let me know, maybe I can get one done quickly.
