two nuts 5/8 if i remember on the bell housing and two wires 9/16 or 5/8 and 11/32? delco solinoid/ cheve type on my 2010 its not verv hard but if its a early mod you have to remove the fuel filters 1010 should be about the same

there is a rebuilt 160+ with 40 back for core on ebay and new ones made in china i bet 200 and 272 +

any rebuild shops near you? i know im spoiled have a starter alt. shop about 15 miles from me if you can find one a rebuild would run from 80 to 200 there is one on ebay 175 plus shiping the seller says it diesel its not its gas i tried to tell him that its for a gaser he said i think i know what i ...

if you remove the precups you might be able to see how bad the damage is even if you get it freeed up if the rings are stuck you will burn a piston bite the bullet and pull the head

sounds like the old style rubber coupling in the pump is gone nothing 8 or 900 wont fix. Make sure you have fuel to the pump if so pull the injector lines and see if you get fuel there it sounds like you wont. I was told once there are three reasons a diesel wont run and thats fuel,fuel and fuel hop...

nos switch

i did mistype and said right when i ment left and i double checked and if you have a nos key switch you will find that it powers the preheaters while in the start mode i have taken two of mine apart and cleand and lubed them and that is the way they are ment to work not trying to be an ass just i kn...

pump leak

if it is one of the injector lines they use a banjo bolt and two washers just get new washers and it will be fine i bet. you can get them at a injection shop or if your not near one jd has for a price kinda like gold from them

i would say you have the right idea since you cant run it I would do it that way youll have to figure a way to block the arms up and pull the crawler back

looks like you could shave with the teeth on those sprockets i beat the chains are not very much better and it dont take much water to wipe out a cyl or two if you have a big boat and need some thing to hold it at the lake go for it lol like someone else said scrap price

The sound and the amount of power is from the fact that it is a two stroke so in therory its a 4 cyl at least for power. Truckers called jimmys yamahas i have a 10 wheel 18 yrd dump truck with a 6v53 in it top rpm is 2800 a friend says it sounds like a b52 when its coming towards him

the type of zerks are called button zerks and most any good parts store can get them and gun end to. i belive all had preheaters they are about as easy as changing spark plugs if you still have the org. switch you turn it to the left for preheat then to the right to start and as the starter is engaged it also powers the preheaters
