It looks like it didn't sell again. If anyone ends up being interested in that crawler, Holden is not too far from me and I could probably swing by there at some point to get some pics for you.

I skid oak, walnut, and hedge with my 2010 with no major problems. I have been using 3/8" hardened chain and the only issue is losing the cotter pin out of the chain clevis pins over time. I cut the logs to 10+' or 20+' lengths as needed; I concur that skidding a tree longer than that would be too d...

The parts manual may be as helpful, because it provides a detailed schematic of this system as well. I don't remember but the routing may not be shown in that so it is good you are getting the service manual. The pictures I posted are off a diesel loader; the setup on my loader is very similar but n...

Check the "Show and Tell" forum; I posted you some pics there.

The parts and service manuals are helpful for this; I can also get some more pics of my machine if you need them.

I think I may have some.....realize there were two different fuel line setups depending on the S/N. I think the routing from the injector pump is similar for both however. These are from a parts machine that I was looking at; thus the machine is in poor condition and some of the filters and such are...

Well, I was wondering about that for my 2010. It threw one of its tracks just before the holidays, and I had to let it sit in place since it is on a slope. Of course, we got 18+" of snow in December and some rain to boot. I went down yesterday and tried to put the track back on, but the ground is so...

Dry Steering Clutch Storage Question

Hi- I think someone on here mentioned that when tey are going to put their crawler with dry clutches in storage, they will tie back the steering levers to disengage the clutches and further protect them from becoming frozen (stuck). I was wondering how this would impact the clutch parts (i.e. would ...

It didn't take me nearly as long as I thought- Digitup was the poster that stated it. I have provided a link to the two relevant threads below: http://www.jdcrawlers.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=1286&highlight=450b+wet+clutches http://www.jdcrawlers.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?t=931&start=0 D...

I think someone on here previously had stated that there were a very few (late serial number) B's that had wet clutches- but since I don't know that for sure I won't swear to it. I'll try to find the post that stated it- it may have been on another crawler site I go to so it may take me a little bit...

I lived in Montana for several years during a work assignment, and agree it is one of the most scenic states that I have ever visited.

My friends and others I met in Montana vacation in Alaska and want to go back, so I can only imagine how much better is must be. :)
