Nick,
I didn't remember that you had a loader, this one is for a dozer machine only, or at least not a crawler with a Deere loader, sorry.

Nick,
Now that I think of it, I have a jobber scarifier mount, the portion that goes on the crawler. If you are going to fab something, it might save you a lot of time.

Yes, I have seen pics of one on an MC with two or more guys riding it. Not sure what they were planting, possibly potatos.

1010/2010 glow plugs now available

Many of you have contacted me in the past asking for the early glow plugs for 1010/2010. Only source was Deere, which is now well over $100 each. I will have them available shortly, not 100% sure on price yet, but am guessing around $25/each. I am going to order two sets as soon as I get the rest of...

Gun grease is all I use, plus I put some in the other sockets as well, so the balls have grease on both sides of them.

It should smoke under load, they don't burn that clean. I would replace the fuel filters first, and make sure there is no restriction in the fuel line anywhere. Also check the air cleaner, normally a plugged air cleaner will make them smoke more, but still worth checking. Barring that, I would guess...

If you have a gas crawler, you could install the factory hyd pump with no real problems and use it for the 3PT.

Many of the reversers will have a howl to them, just like backing up a manual transmission car. Make sure you have the reverser full to the recommended level with oil. Fish scale is fine, or just guess. If you go to far, you will not be able to adjust it at all. Been there, done that on the seal. La...

Not 100% sure, but keep in mind that you are taking a rockshaft housing that was designed for 9GPM at 1000 PSI and you are stuffing 15 or more GPM at 1500PSI into it. It is not going to be ported internally to handle that kind of flow. Also, on a tractor, the rockshaft housing is the reservoir, so t...

Okay, here is a recent pic, track frames installed, and the engine runs. Tested everything for function and then took it out of the stand. Right now it is sitting on the floor waiting for the dyno to get rolled in tomorrow.

Axles from Deere are close to $100 I believe if not more. I can get aftermarket sealed lifetime rollers for about $130 depending on what bolt size. I just put a full set of them on the 420 I am restoring, there are pics in the show and tell section.

They will need to know pickup zip code, destination zip code, weight and dimension. You will likely have a difficult getting someone to pick up a dead machine unless there is a loading dock and equipment on both ends. There are few carriers that have ramps and winch. If you get an RGN or something l...

That part is the same, it is the gear set that has been changed at one time in its life, I will see what I have.

The gear set you have does not appear in the parts books, but I know they made them, I had one just a few months ago. The normal gear set would be 7 and 32 I believe, I may have one of those sets on the shelf, or in a transmission.
