mini crawler
Hello, I thought it looks like a magnatrac, but I don't think the dozer blade matches. So it might have been added later or an add on. If it runs it is a nice machine. It looks like a wisconsin engine, is it? Good luck, Tom.

wood boiler
Hey thanks for the replies. I am leaning towards a Shaver boiler. They qualify for tax credit and have been around for a while. I have heated my 2000 square foot farm house for years with a Federal wood stove so I know all about cutting and splitting LOL. I burn about 4 or 5 cords a year in it and i...

Wood Fired Boiler
Hey Guys, I am thinking quite seriously about a wood boiler. In this area it seems that Central Boilers are the brand most people go with. Does anyone have one, im sure people do, and how do you like it. And, what brand do you have? Thanks, Tom.

reverser
Yes the disks are availiable from deere I bought a set and they were 50 a disk 2 years ago. There are 10 of them. The big problem would be if the bearings were out of the reverser then it would be a mess. I am not sure how availiable the shafts and gears are. You can kinda see a little bit if you ta...

reverser
Just a note when u have the reverser out check the disks. The tabs on the friction disks get knocked off from slipping and not clutching when using reverser. The disks are available from deere and not too bad at 50 apiece, you need 10. Well 50 is what i paid a few years ago. The forward clutch pack ...

253 Diesel
Whoever bought the diesel got a good deal. The accessory bracket in the front is worth 250 and all the brackets for the fuel filter and oil filter are there also. If it runs it is a good price. Tom.

Does anyone have a manual for the 831 loader? And if anyone does, is the breakdown shown for the valve assembly? Thanks, Tom.

Reverser
I would like to know if it is as simple to rebuild the clutch packs of a 440 reverser as the manual makes it sound. Does just the front clutch pack come out by itself or does the differential have to come out as well. I will take pictures of this when I get to it. Thanks, Tom.

Reverser in a 440 ICD
Hello, I have my 440 in for a major teardown and rebuild and was wondering about the reverser. You can tell about the engine clutch and the steering clutches, but will a worn out clutch on the reverser be obvious? Has anyone torn one down and rebuilt on? Thanks, for any help, Tom.

Scarifier
Don, it goes up and down by hooking the side rails onto the raised pins of the bucket tilt. If you look close you can see where they hook on. Then the scarifier goes up and down with the tilt of the bucket. You scarify then unhook the scarifier and then use the loader to pick up the scarified dirt. ...
