I'm sure it's nothing a hammer, bondo and a good body man can't fix.

He is correct. I had to replace them on mine and it made all the difference. Throttle is almost too stiff now.

Have fun replacing them. What would seem like an easy job was quite involved.

You might try something like in the link below for loading your round bales. They call it a tightening scissor clamp, but I'm not sure if that's the correct name. I know the jaw size would have to be much wider than what's in the link. I know I've seen them bigger for picking up square bales I think...

That thing looks cool. So do you get the bucket and post hole digger and bed pan with the log trailer or is that stuff sold separately? My stepdad has the Wallentein 3-point hitch winch and the thing is amazing. He runs it with a small 30HP john deere and it'll pull some very large logs with only ru...

Reviving this old thread. I'll post here because there isn't much action on the Moline forum and for some reason I can't get registered on Yesterday's Tractors. Below is a link to the photobucket album instead of posting tons of pictures. This has turned into a pretty big project but will hopefully ...

Would it happen to have the correct, working electric oil pressure gauge and a good correct working water temp. gauge?

When I was looking for new pumps I think a replacement Cessna was decent price. Lavoy probably knows better though. Just a little heads up. If you're talking about the hydraulic tank for the diesel 440, the fill hole is extremely small, so don't start dumping it in fast or you'll have fluid all over...

I third what they say. There is only one way that transmission comes apart and goes back together. It's a jigsaw puzzle. It's not a hard job, but like I said, only one way to get those shafts all in there.

Never worked on a 350, but I understand what I'm seeing. I don't see why you would have to change the bearing and seal. I don't believe the sealing is done on that sleeve anyway. Your seal is installed on the quill (#4) and then the sealing surface rides on the ring gear and that's where the seal is...

I don't have a 420, but I believe they are similar to a 440 which I have. If the 1st and 4th shift fork is engaged into either gear, then the other forks will not move. There is an interlock pin to keep it from shifting into two gears at the same time. If you're in first gear then yes I believe the ...

Gasket Sealers/Makers

I'm working on another tractor and it's about time to start reassembly. I was wondering what some of you used to add a little extra seal to gaskets. Any paper gasket, I put a light film of oil and I usually have good luck. Even though the gaskets are new, I feel like it might be worthwhile to add a ...

I don't mind my 2-53 to much. It starts right up when it's warm and only needs a small shot of either when it's cold. It does have a decent amount of oil blow by from something which is quite annoying but for the 3 hours a year of runtime I put on it I can deal with it. Lavoy your prices sound prett...

I ran into this problem when I needed a new pinion for mine. I'm pretty sure Lavoy said it would be ok, just might track to one side slightly.

Can you give any additional information.
Does it run?
Do all transmission gears work?
Does reverser work?
Steering clutches functional?

The undercarriage looks pretty decent to me. What price are you asking?
