if almost all the engine parts are exactly same on a 2010 as a 1010 diesel where does the extra power come from? Same block, crank, cam, sleave deck, etc etc. I don't see why putting a 2010 in a 1010 is going to create so much power that it would hurt my 1010 crawler. thoughts on this would be helpf...

I don't know I haven't really had time to look at her to close yet. What primer pump?

I haven't figured out the trans yet, that's why I was looking for a owners manual, it's got additional levels my 1010 don't have... Ha ha I was looking at one that the keller family rebuilt and it has that same seat this one has. I like the big delux seat my 1010 has, them ag are different for sure....

it's a diesel I bought it out here in placerville ca, I originally was going to take tracks off and put on my 1010 until Lavoy told me not to and leave it alone. He checked serial number it for surely is an AG. Everything is there, nothing missing but needs some TLC.

my engine serial number is above 31001

the john deere parts catalog shows part number
at 16294t (std main beering)
at 16295t (std main bearing thrust)
at 10123t (std rod bearing)

I am trying to find a cross ref so I can buy after market bearings

can anyone point me in right direction?

I bought replacement motor for my 1010 and I am about to start removing my old motor but to get to the motor I need to remove the loader. The service manual shows to remove loader, cab and controls as one. I dont think I can do this in my gravel driveway and no sturdy tree near by. So I was thinking...
