Yes, it will bolt right on. With a loader, you will need to fabricate a cylinder mount, but that is it.

I can't see what thickness plate you are using, but I have bent 1" plate fairly easily with a 20 ton jack. The concept should work fine, the problem might be getting the plate thick enough to tolerate the stress. Another idea along the power washer line, you could drill a few small holes in the back...

If you put on a ton of hours, you might have increase valve wear. I put hard seats in all of the heads I have done for this reason. I really do not believe it is an issue unless you are running the machine 8 hours a day every day of the week.

The ones you get from Deere really will not fit decent, they are huge. I should have a couple of used one, and new aftermarket ones are less than $150.

IF you split it at the transmission, you will have to pull all of the corresponding bolts out of the other side as well. You might be able to get enough flex in the sideframe to get the housing off.

Ah, the things we have to come up with to work on these old beasts. Not to mention the industrial size Band-aid box that is required.

I know I probably preach about it, but the picture of that spring is why I do not reuse pressure plates, it is just not worth it.
The clutch housing is cast iron, it can be welded but I am a little leary of it. Too much stress on a critical part to gamble maybe.
