Jd 1010 blade

Hello everyone. I just wondered what model my dozer blade is. It is on a 1010 and it is a 6 way blade but is mechanical tilt and angle. Power up and down. Also the blade attaches on the outside of the tracks. Thanks in advanced.

Okay thanks lavoy. I never did it on purpose just by accident a few times. Looks like i will have to be more care full. Also is it true for the 1010s that their is no neutral for the power shutle. Also it appears im suposed to clutch before changing the reverser. Looks like i am getting used to our ...

When you say it was making a sound. It sounds like the pump was running dry. Check the hydralic oil level you mabey havenet destroyed the pump but you could have. Also check for leaks. So you know where the oil went. Good luck

The dozer should have enough down pressure to lift the front of the dozer. Is the tensioner zerk on the side Or on the top. mine is on the top of the cylinder. If it is a standard zerk someone has replaced it. it is 1/8 pipe thread both standard and button head fittings are available in this size

I dont have a 440 but i think it is similar to my 1010 your problem with your blade is that it is in the float position ( no down or upward preesure). Your rollers have probally been replaced with sealed units ( no matiance). So their is no way to oil them. And your hydralic tensioner is tensioned u...

So for sure it was not a smart thing for the PO to dump diesel down. So what does everyone else do to free up the clutches ?

I hope it is not that i would say it works 60% of the time. How much work is it to take that apart and to take the steering clutxhes apart. Also Is there any special tools needed?

Steering clutch

In my 1010c dozer the right clutch works well most of the time but some times it makes a bad grinding sound when i pull the lever and it boggs the engine right down and track looses power abruptly but if i keep travelling straight then try it again it works well any ideas?
