Keeping Diesel Engine Warm

Post by Frustrated440owner » Tue Sep 27, 2005 9:33 am

Since I've had my 440ICD for the last two years, I've had trouble whenever the weather drops to around 45 degrees or so. Is there anyway to keep the engine warm or easier to start?

Should be a spot on the LH side of the block or head for a block heater.
Unless plugged in, only way to make them start easier cold is to put in the N series pistons and injectors.
