I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with the snap ring that holds the linkage that pushes the throwout bearing. It is a very small snap ring and I don't think it will stay on the shaft groove. has anyone tried any other methods to keep the ring from snapping off and having to break the dozer in half. I have had this happen twice and it did it under a heavy load then pressing the clutch knocks the snap ring off. Any help would be great!!!!

If you mean the snap ring that is down on the clutch adjuster, yes I have. On a buddy's, I slid a flat washer on the shaft and welded it on, no more problem.
