My 1950 MC (serial# 12800 Industrial Yellow) was finally delivered from Wisconsin to NY. Things were going great until the right steering started to stick. It turns left ok however when I pull back on the right level the brake does not release. I removed the access covers and it looks like the brake crank arm is not releasing back the same angle as the brake crank arm on the left side. Is there a way to adjust this?
Thanks,
Chad

Yes it is adjustable, It may have slipped or something broke. Hard to adjust if everything in the housing is rusted. You may have to take it all apart before it will adjust. Also may be a bad thruout bearing. The best advice that I can give is to get a shop manual. they are avaiable at several locations and on ebay,
It sounds like the clutch is not releasing. When you pull on the handle, first the clutch releases and then when you pull moee the brake is engaged for that side. If you press on the foot brake both brakes bands age engaged at the same time.
Have fun
