MC Still running
I have a 1947, dont have the #'s written down in the house. I purchased the MC 4 years ago in Redfield NY. The previous owner had new tracks and rollers installed along with some clutch work. I dented the fragile front grille so built a brush gaurd for the front. I moved to Lorraine NY in 07 15 miles from where I origanly bought it for $5,000.00. People say I spent to much but the rerpair bill was $3,800.00. I have used it to build ATV and Recreational trails and plow the 12 feet of snow this year alone. Last year my pile was 24 feet high. I have 20 with 8 weeks or more left. It is the most relaxing thing I can do and wipes away those bad days at work. Am gettiong a 450 as soon as I can but will never sell her and plan on teaching the grand kids all about her. Good luck with yours will figure out to down load the pics some day. Michael
Have to go look now
I stand corrected, My MC was the third in the series before they switched to the 40, So that would be 1951. I have the soft ruffled screen in the front. Other than going thru allot of plugs have not had any major trouble with it. Up to 15 feet of snow in Lorraine, NY since Oct. and it is not letting up yet. People are amazed how I can run the top of the snow banks with it. Works just as good in the mud with the new tracks. Mr. B
