MC pins and bushings

Post by Joe MC » Thu Jan 29, 2009 12:53 pm

I have an MC that I am beginning to restore. Is there a source to buy new pins and bushings for the tracks?

The sheet metal is in good shape other than the grill. Where can this grill be straightened?

Thanks for any information.

Your John Deere dealer should be able to get the pins and bushings.

I see a set of good tools you can use to straigten your grill:

That tool looks interesting.....has anyone here ever used one? I think I'd buy one, if I thought it would work decently.

If it is the ones made by the Sundstals, I'm pleased with mine. Have several of their tools. Workmanship is good. Simple to use. Pat
