My crawler's serial number is somewhere between 31001 and 42000, according to the parts I've needed over the years. I've had it since about 1990, and don't know what year it was built. I have never seen the serial number on it. Is there someone here that can tell me where it should be?

RH side of the engine block, kind of below the generator.

Don't see it there. Is there any other likely place?
I have had reason to believe it's not the original motor.

Only other ID tag is for the loader itself. That is right above the dashboard. Tin plate with two rivets.

Look on the top of the transmission, left front corner.

The crawler serial number tag would be only on the engine, RH front corner.
