2010 Crawler

Post by Stretch » Sun Jun 14, 2009 4:46 pm

This may not be the right forum. I need to know how much my 2010 dozer is worth. I have posted the rebuild on this sight. There are pictures. She has been completely gone through, with the exception of transmission and final.
She is a good unit. Need to know for divorce issue.
Wife couldn't take it anymore. To much time with equipment.

Stretch,
If you are really talking about divorce, the only price you should come up with is scrap price. It is after all a 45 year old machine that a commercial operator would not buy due to parts availability alone. Even though it is worth more than that to you and to others don't tell her lawyers that (unless she is taking the dozer- then it is worth every dime you put into it plus all the hours you put into it X $85.
I have served almost 25 years of my life sentence, not sure if there is a chance of parol for me.

Good luck,

Chuck

dozer or loader?

i have had the unfortunate pleasure of helping friends unload belongings due to divorce. seems the easiest way to determine the market is to simply put it on ebay and let the bidding begin. you can sell it or put a high reserve on it...high bid is probably the market.

good luck and sorry you aren't selling for a better reason like upgrading.

For a wreck like that, couple hundred bucks tops. I would think someone here would buy it, and just store it at your place until the divorce is final. Then, might even consider selling it back to you if you know what I mean.

That might work. I could even charge storage fees and no money would have to change hands.

I would entertain selling the dozer for 5K, if you took my wife too.
Look at the brighter side, technically you would only be paying $2500 cause she would get half.
And I would be pardoned from a life of alimony. :D
