steering clutch replacement on a 440C

i recently purchased my 440 and would like to know the best place to get parts for replacing the steering clutch. i've been reading about other steering clutch replacements on this forum, but i want to make sure i get all of the right parts before i begin. any information would be helpful.

As you explore around this forum you will find it to be a wealth of information that you will be able to use as problems arise on your machine. The administrator of this board is Lavoy Wilcox and he can get you about anything that you might need. I would give him a call first.

Just what exactly are you lugging around on the back end of your crawler? Looks intriguing.

it's an ottawa backhoe retrofitted by the previous owner, which is why i bought the machine in the first place
it's a little heavy for the dozer, but works nonetheless

I have done finals on two machines and Lavoy is the cheapest and most helpful around. I would be real careful driving that mchine around with that heavy backhoe on there. If you get her bouncing you could crack a final. Nice machine though.
