Post by frozendozer » Sat Aug 29, 2009 9:15 am

i ve been looking for a block heater for my JD 440icd. it has pipe thread on it that looks to be about 1 1/4 inch and screws into a plate that is bolted to the side of the block, and is on the same side as the governor.

if anyone can help me to source one, i would be grateful. take you fishing if you want.

Hi-

You might want to read these archived posts on block heaters for 420/440 series crawlers (Lavoy says he has block heaters in one of the posts):

I would love to go fishing up north; finding time and money right now is the biggest issue unfortunately :(

My 440 had one of those self circulating tank heaters.
