I have a 440 crawler and some of the track shoes have a forward and aft play. If you grab it by the outer edge you can move some of them forward and aft.
First of is this normal? If not what would the problem and fix be?
Thanks

If it is the shoe moving on the link, your bolts are loose. If it is the link moving, then your pins and bushings are shot.

Lets say it is the pins and bushings. How difficult is it to get new pins and bushings?

Right now, easy to get, too expensive to consider, about $2300 for a 440, plus install labor. I am working on an alternative, I hope to know more in a month or so.
