JD40c steering cluch ball bearings?

While completely getting a self taught lesson on JD 101, I notice that the 3 ball bearings that sit behind the throw out bearing cam are different on either side. Right side ball bearings are smaller than the left. I know some extensive work was done to this machine years ago, and then sat.... could it be possible different models or years used different size ball bearings?

Only one size, someone has changed them.
