440icd service manual help

Ordered a service manual for my 440ICD from our local deere dealership. $78 plus $12 to get it here in a week. They called today to kindly let me know that if I also want the diesel engine book it will be another $66 (plus $12) because the manual only covers the gas engine models. Does this sound ok to you guys? If anyone out there has a 440ICD service manual and could get me the JD part number off of the book maybe I can get this straightened out tomorrow. Thanks

It looks like you need 2 manuals for the ICD. Go at this link:

type 440 in the keyword field. Then at the second page of search results I think the books you are looking for will be there. SM2023 and SM2028.

It can be downloaded too. Cheaper and you have it now. Hope it helps.
