Rotten eggs

Post by Willyr » Tue Jan 10, 2012 3:23 pm

Wife and I bought a new minivan last week and thought the exhaust was plugged.

Went out to the garage today thinking sinc the grond was soft I could take out the tire lines from previous days when it was in the 50's. Dead battery, checked the cells, I can see fluid just below top of the plates.

I did have a half amp trickle charger on it (do it every winter) so tractor would fire right up on the days its only -20F.

Sigh

Sounds to me like the minivan may have a new battery in it for your crawler
Best of luck to you.

I am hoping I didnt cook the battery. I can see fluid just below the top of the plates.

Beginning to wonder why I took it off 12 volt.
