1010 crawler fuel tank and sediment bowl question

Post by maxprime » Mon Jun 11, 2012 11:36 am

I am redoing the hoses on the fuel tank (diesel) and notice there is 3 lines on the tank, 2 on the right side (front and rear) and 1 on the left rear.
On mine, they have both lines on the right side connected together and going to the pump and the left side goes to the sediment bowl and to the filters. I looked in the john deere parts list pdf. ( page.48 ) and it looks like there are 2 lines connecting to the sediment bowl and am wondering if that is the right front line and the left rear one?
I know mine has been messed with and wonder if anyone could tell me how it should be hooked up.

Thanks in advance.

I believe that RT. front and left rear lines go to bowl/filters. The rt. rear should come straight up from the pump as the return line. Greg

Thanks Greg,
That's what I thought. I just didn't understand why it had both inlets spliced into the return lines and figured i'd ask.
Thanks once again.
